HOMERA
Privacy policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
This policy describes information Homera Homes Limited (“Homera”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects through this website and how it is used. Homera is a Ghana-focused property listing service. For privacy questions or requests, use the Contact Homera page or email info@homeraghana.com.
Information we handle
- Account information: your sign-in email, account name, account type, and account membership. Supabase Auth handles your password; Homera does not receive or store it in the Homera listings database.
- Property listings: property details, asking price, location, contact details you provide, and photos. Published listing details and photos are visible publicly. Advertiser email addresses and phone numbers are not included in Homera’s public listings feed.
- Enquiries: the name, email, optional phone number, and message a visitor submits. The enquiry is shown to the account managing that listing and may be emailed to that account when email delivery is configured.
- Contact and complaint messages: if you contact Homera, your name, email, optional phone number, topic, message, and any property link or payment reference you provide. We use these details to respond, investigate concerns, and keep appropriate support records.
- Payment records: package, amount, payment reference, and status. Paystack processes card and Mobile Money payments; Homera does not collect or store card numbers or Mobile Money PINs.
- Basic technical data: Supabase and the website host may process request and security logs. To limit repeated enquiry spam, Homera stores a keyed, non-reversible hash of the request IP address for up to 24 hours; the raw address is not stored in the enquiry rate-limit table.
- Browser storage: the site uses Supabase browser storage to keep your sign-in session and local storage for saved searches and properties on your device.
How we use information
We use it to operate accounts, display and review listings, route enquiries, process and verify payments, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and maintain the service. Homera does not sell personal information.
Service providers and sharing
Homera uses Supabase for authentication, database, file storage, and server functions; Paystack for checkout and payment verification; and Resend for enquiry email when that service is configured. Google Fonts and third-party image hosts may receive ordinary browser requests when their resources are displayed. Homera shares an enquiry with the relevant listing account. If an authorized Homera admin approves an Instagram post, the selected public listing photo and caption are sent to the connected Homera Instagram account and Meta.
Retention and your choices
Account, listing, enquiry, and payment records are kept while needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet record-keeping obligations. Enquiry rate-limit hashes are eligible for cleanup after 24 hours and are deleted the next time the rate limiter runs. You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing info@homeraghana.com. Some records may need to be retained where required for a completed transaction or a legal obligation. Saved searches and properties can also be removed from your browser storage by clearing site data in your browser.
Security and transfers
Homera uses access controls and service-provider safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in the countries where their systems operate.
Updates
We may update this policy as Homera’s features change. The date above shows when it was last revised. The policy is informed by Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Contact Homera if you have a question about this policy.
